Excel Formatting

I am having a problem switching from Mac to PC with the format of
Excel. Every time that I make a spreadsheet in either Mac or PC, and
try to edit it (or send it to a coworker to edit/look at) it shows the
number signs in the cells that have shrunk and cannot show the data in
the cell. I am wondering if there is something that I need to check
when I save or if there is something that I need to set when I send it
over email??

Cell widths are based on the number of numeric characters of the
Standard Font that cells can contain (set in Preferences/General). Make
sure that you're using the same fonts at the same size on both machines.
MS-supplied fonts (e.g., Times New Roman, Verdana, Arial, Tahoma) work
well.

Also, in your sheet, make sure you're using a standard font that both
you and your coworker have on your machines.

There will always be minor differences between machines - even two PCs
or two Macs, if they have different fonts or printer drivers, will
display/print differently. But using the same driver and using standard
fonts will generally minimize the problem.
