A B C D E F G H
1 2 3 4 5 6
Section Section Section Section Total
Name 1 1 1 1
Teacher 1 ENG3U1 ENG3U1 ENG1D1 1.00
Teacher 2 CGC1D1 CGC1D1 HFN2O1 1.00
Teacher 3 ESLAO1 ATC4M1 ATC4M1 0.67
Teacher 4 AMQ3O1 AMG3O1 AMI2O2 AMI2O2 0.67
Teacher 5 AMQ4M1 0.33
Teacher 6 MPM2D1 MCF3M1 0.67

It takes three sections to equal 1.0
Do you know a formula that would count sections and return it to a number
for each Teacher, and columns 3/4/5 are only one section
Teacher 1 should be 1.0 Rounding Down
Teacher 2 should be 1.0
Teacher 3 shouls be a .67
Teacher 4 should be a.67
Teacher 5 should be a .33
Teacher 6 should be a .67
Would someone know how to do these formulas?????????????

If I understand your rules correctly, with Teacher 1 in row 5 and 1st
section in column B, this formula in H5 and fill down:

=ROUND((COUNTIF(B5,"<>")+COUNTIF(C5,"<>")+COUNTIF(G5,"<>")+MIN(COUNTIF(D5:F5,"<>"),1))/3,2)
