Excel Garble

W

WA

I received an email via Outlook with an Excel (.xls) attachment. When I
opened it, it displayed illegible information--garble. I had user resend it
and confirm on their end that they are able to read it just fine. But when I
got it for 2nd time, still the same. I'm on XP Pro and using Excel 2002.
What could possibly be causing this issue? And is there anything I can do on
my end to convert it to legible format?
Please advise.
