EXCEL hangs and so does WORD

I first noticed WORD hangs on a "Save As" command, same thing in EXCEL. Also
OUTLOOK will not link to an address I enter inthe URL. Seems a majot issue
for MS to solve.

I can do a "get-around" by first copying a file to a temportay location and
using the "Rename" fo rthe copy to build a new file. I can then load and edit
and save... but not Save AS.
