Hi,

I ran my software update last night as usual - and now my excel has disappeared!!!!

can't find it in my applications or trash or using spotlight... and when i click the excel icon in my dock there is just a question mark that appears...

Also - I don't have my original office disk with me - so can't do a reinstall...

has this happened to anyone else? and how can i fix it????????

Any help gratefully appreciated...

Thanks very much

I ran my software update last night as usual - and now my excel has

The Dock may show an question mark but is the Excel application still in
the Microsoft Office 2008 folder in the Applications folder?

This happens infrequently but does happen during an update. Something
goes wrong between the time the updater deletes files and replaces them.
The only solution is to re-install your software or restore from backup.

Hope this helps!
