Excel has generated error and will be closed by windows...

hi guys

if u guys can help me out with this... im currently using Excel 2000
while im trying to do a print preview on a excel document i encounter
this error saying: "Excel.exe has generated errors and will be closed
by the windows. you will need to restart the program."

tried solutions:
1) restart program and print preview file but error still occurs
2) restart computer and print preview file but error still errors
3) tried repairing excel but problem still there
4) tried reinstalling excel but problem still there
5) tried transfering file to another system, but its able to do a print
preview!!!!

btw the funny thing about this problem is that this error does not
occurs to all files. some files i could still print preview but some
cant. did u guys come across this???? pls help!! thanx and i will
really appreciate. hope to hear from u guys soon....

Since it's associated with print preview (or even printing), I'd experiment with
the printer driver. Try changing to a different printer to see if you still get
the error.

If you don't, try visiting your printer's web site and getting a newer (or just
fresher) copy of the real driver.

Remove the existing driver, load up the new one and see what happens...
