Excel- Hyperlinks

How can I make an inserted hyperlink to show up on cell
which has a pre-set font size of "8". I'm inserting the
data path for a JPG file, all works OK, but the file name
inserts with a larger font size, which mesess up the row.
I'd like it to be inserted with the pre-set font size??

You could change the hyperlink style:

format|style|Hyperlink (in the dropdown)
modify
change the font size.

Dave, I have not been able to alter the "style" window to
reformat the hyperlink, on this worksheet?? Because it
keeps coming out all grayed. Your suggestion did work on
another file I had, try as I might, I can't "un-gray"
the style window on the original file??. Thanks in

One way that Style can be unavailble is if the worksheet is protected.

Is that worksheet protected?

I assume that it must be protected. For the life of me I
can't figure out how to unprotect. I have excel 2000. The
Help menu was not very helpfull. Just how do I do
unprotect on the worksheet???

Tools>Protection. Is "Unprotect Sheet" available? If it is, click on it.

You may have to supply a password.

As far as the Help Menu goes......type in "unprotect"(no quotes) and see what
you get.
