Hello. Thank you in advance to anyone who can help me. I have 3 major problems with my Excel.

1. Oftentimes (but not always) Excel will not allow me to type anything in a cell. I try to enter numbers and nothing shows up. I try to enter numbers in the toolbar at the top of the screen and nothing shows up. I have to leave the cell and go back to it and then (Eventually) Excel will allow me to type in the cell again. I use an external keyboard (bluetooth) at work. Neither the external or my laptop keyboard will work when Excel is doing this. Could it be related to the external keyboard?
2. When I edit a spreadsheet that is located on the server at work (using my laptop), I am sometimes not able to save the file. I get an error message stating something about the file being "in use" but it's not in use. Then, it saves the file under some random digit name and I can change the name and use it like normal. So, I end up having 2 copies of the same file, but can only edit one. This also happens sporadically and drives me crazy. I can get the IT guy to delete the locked file when he updates the server, but he doesn't know why Excel keeps doing this to me.
3. Sometimes I open a file and it is open (somewhere) but I can't view it. It's not open on another space, because I looked there. I have to close Excel and I say "No." to save the changes to the "open somewhere" file and re-open the file. Then I can see the file.

Any suggestions? I am at a loss of what to do. Excel is making my life very difficult at work. Thanks again and I apologize for such a long post.
