Excel Keeps Closing-- I don't need an error report, I need my computer to work!

Version: 2008
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)

I bought my new Mac about a month ago and once in a while the Excel closes while I'm in the middle of using it. Today though it is closing every few minutes and I have no clue why; and when I tried to use this website to get in touch with tech support, that was a total dead end. Any suggestions for how to keep the program open for the rest of the day so I can finish my project, or how to contact who I need to contact?

Are you sure your version of Office is updated to 12.1.2? (Go to Excel/About
Excel). If it is, could you click on More Info in the Microsoft Error
Reporting window the next time Excel crashes and copy/paste the entire error
report into an email message and send it to me?
