Excel keeps scrolling

Help, please.... Once in a while, an Excel sheet starts scrolling rapidly,
going down hundreds of lines before I use Control>Alt >Delete to stop it. I
cannot identify any particular action that triggers it, but it happens
rarely. Does anyone have ideas of what is happening and how I can avoid it?

Could be any of several causes: sticky mouse, or rather oversensitive mouse,
sticky down arrow, sticky page down key, sticky enter key. Mostly, an
oversensitive wheel mouse. Try hitting the wheetl hard when this happens,
and see if it stops. That has been the cause every time I experienced this
problem.

Kassie: Thanks for your reply. Since I have never had this problem on another
program, and since I and classmates have had this problem only on this
program on college lab computers, I wonder if there is a program problem.
