Excel link to word

Hi,
I have linked an excel cell with today()+5 in word.
This link is working (updates itself) only on machines with early versions
of word 2003.
It is not working on version: 11.5604.8221

Hi Paul,

Have you checked that all Word installations are set to automatically update their links? See under Tools|Options|General.

Check done, and sorry for double posting.
I also tried embed as object instead of simply copy / paste / link to excel,
option.
Still not updating

Hi Paul,

Does this problem concern all linked documents on the problem PCs? Have you checked under Edit|Links to make sure the links are set
to automatic update and are not locked?
