Dear all,
I have a master spreadsheet linked to several independent spreadsheets
that I am using for calculation, all of these spreadsheet are in the
same folder.
In short the process is the following: a value is inserted in the
master spreadsheet, the value is retrieved by the calculation
spreadsheet then the results in retrieved by the master spreadsheet.
1- How the links of the spreadsheet can be independent of the location
of the folder (e.g. if I transfer the folder to another pc)?
2- When I open the master, insert a new value, the results is not
updated unless I open the corresponding spreadsheet which does the
calculation; will it be possible when a new value is inserted that
excel calculates automatically the results?
