Excel loading slow

I have Office X on a Powerbook G3. Some time ago, Excel started taking
forever to load and twice as long to quit. I'm talking 4 minutes just for the
program to open.
I think it may have gotten messed up on a defrag. How can I correct this?
How can I uninstall all of Office and start again?
