Dear All,
could you help me! this one. I am attaching ecel sheet.
On the pp-stf tab is a listing of staff and pay periods.
On the daysched tab is the daily staffing schedule.
Names on the B column need to change according to when full time staf
are working. Included on the B column now are the normal assignment
for the areas in C column.
The env sched tab contains the daily schedule information.
The daysched tab needs to be printed on a daily basis. There is also a
evening sched but once the formula is done it should be easy enough t
duplicate it for the evening schedule (shouldn't it?).
I call the date from the 7-12 env tab according to day number ie 200
july18th. Ideally I would like to key in the day number on the home ta
and the date field would be calculated as well as filling in all of th
full time staff scheduled to work in their usual areas on the daysche
tab. For example area 8w is Violetta's area. she works 07:00- 15:00 o
days 187 to 190 (m-th) has 191(f) off (so nothing would be printe
there), works 192 and 193 (s s) has 194(m) off and then works m- f fo
the next three weeks so we need to be able to find her name on the env
tab check to see if the day corresponds to D on the table and if i
does then place it on the right place on the day sched tab. If the bo
is not d then print nothing if the box is v or s then print the name o
column I across from her name in column B. The next phase would be t
find out who is scheduled to work from the part timers and decide wh
will replace her but that is something for another day.
Let me know if I am dreaming or if there is a better way of managin
the data transfer. Check out the home tab, this is where I hav
assigned the macros to go and get the monthly info to print the monthl
schedules. Perhaps this could be expanded to print the daily sheets a
well. Call me if you need to discuss further.
PS I wrote the macros myself so they are safe to open on your machine
They call named ranges and place them into predictable places on th
env sched ta
