RST Engineering - JIm

I have an Excel 2003 sheet with names (i.e. Carl Johnson) in column B and
email addresses (i.e. (e-mail address removed)) in column C.

Try as I might, I cannot make an Outlook group mailing list from these
names/addys. I highlight (for example) B3 to C25 and give it a unique name
in the upper left "name" box (i.e. WXYZ) and as soon as I hit "save" to put
that name into the Excel sheet it immediately reverts to B3. As per the
"help file" instructions, I close out the Excel sheet and then go to
Outlook.

Going to Outlook to try and import WXYZ gives me the error message "No Named
Ranges".

There must be a simple answer, but I surely can't find it.
