Excel Mobile Converter

I'm receiving the error message "This Microsoft Excel File was created in a
version of Microsoft Excel that is not supported by the selected converter.
The Excel Mobile converter can only convert Microsoft Excel 5.0/95/97/2000
Files." when converting Excel documents from my laptop, which runs XP
Professional to my iPAQ handheld device, which is running Mobile Windows
2003. I'm converting the documents using ActiveSync 3.8. I have no problems
converting Word 2003 documents, only Excel 2003 documents.

Does anyone know if there is an updated Excel Mobile converter that will
handle the ActiveSync conversion of Excel 2003 documents? Is anyone else
experiencing this problem?

Are you sure the file is saved as an Excel Workbook and not some other file
format. I run ActiveSync 3.8 and Office 2003 and my Ipaq works fine with
conversion
