excel numbering

someone had asked a similar question, someone had posted a resolution,
am just a carrier!

When I install the above VBA code, save workbook and reopen again, th
number won't increase. what could have went wrong

Hi,

Frank is right. but you can paste the Workbook_Open
code into the "This_Workbook" module for it to increment
the number
