Excel object in PP problem

I want to be able to update my PP with changes made in the excel file, so
naturally I'll want to link my object.

But, I like that when an object is not linked (simply pasted without
linking), that when I double click the object the spreadsheet is activated
within the PP presentation.

But with linked objects, double clicking them actually launches the excel
application and takes me out of the PP application which I do not want.

How can I have my objects update, but when I double click them they simply
open within the PP, not in a seperate application? Please help.
