EXCEL OPENS EVERYTHING!

I have a user, whos EXCEL opens hundreds of .xls files and even trys to open word .docs and outlook files. I have reinstalled office 2000 professional and erased all the shortcuts to no avail. Other office apps are working fine. Just Excel is messed up big time. Please help

RESOLVED! The errors were associated with user. I erased the USER PROFILE in C: and wahlah! Case Closed
