Excel page numbering

Theresa

I would like to have multiple worksheet numbering. For
example: I have one file with ten worksheets. I want
the first page of my first worksheet to be page number 22
and the last worksheet, last page to be 52. Therefore,
all of the pages in between would follow sequentially.
Any suggestions???

Theresa, first put the page number in the header or footer of each
worksheet. Then...

To print the entire workbook (all 52 pages, numbered sequentially):

File > Print > Entire workbook > OK.

To print any one worksheet (page numbering starts at 1):

File > Print > Active sheet(s) > OK.

To print multiple worksheets (page numbering starts at 1):

Group the worksheets, then File > Print > Active sheet(s) > OK.

If you go to
<File> <PageSetUp> <Page> tab,
At the bottom, you'll see the
"First Page Number" box set to "Auto".
Just change it to any number you wish.

The problem with multiple worksheets is that...
Let's say you have a workbook with 3 worksheets.
You want to print page numbers sequentially across all three (3)
worksheets, BUT you also want the page numbering to begin at, say for
example, 5.

For the example, say worksheet #1 has 2 pages, worksheet #2 has 3
pages, and worksheet #3 has 5 pages.

Thus the pages should be numbered:
Worksheet #1: 5, 6
Worksheet #2: 7, 8, 9
Worksheet #3: 10, 11, 12, 13, 14

Excel does not appear to have the ability to do this. When I set to
"Auto" on the "Start Page Numbering" field, it starts at 1, and I don't
see a way to modify this. If I set that field to a particular number,
all worksheets start at that page number (Worksheet #1's first page is
"5" as well as Worksheet #2's first page is set to "5" etc.,)

Any suggestions?
