Excel print preview -- no margin adjustment

In old Excel, I was able to use a toolbar icon to select print preview, which then allowed me to activate the margins, move around dotted lines for the margins, header and footer areas, etc. until it looked right. In 2008 Excel, all I seem able to do is go to print, choose preview and get a static preview of the document. not only does it involve more steps, I can't find a way to manipulate the margins using those helpful dotted lines while looking at the document. Am I missing a preference option? is there a way to do this in new Excel?

Switch to Page Layout View, make sure you have the Ruler turned on (View
menu) then use the markings on the ruler (where the dark meets the light) to
adjust the margins very similar to Print Preview.

You can also adjust breaks while in Normal view by dragging the dotted lines
if you have Show Page Breaks checked in Excel> Preferences> View.

This is very useful for manipulating the left and right margins, so thank you. But it does not enable me to adjust the margins for top, bottom, header and footer, as I used to be able to do in old Excel's print preview. Any suggestions for those?

Top & Bottom as well as Header/Footer margins are adjustable in exactly the
same way using the Vertical Ruler on the left edge of the window.
