Excel Problems on Open

Sean

My Excel was acting funny, and it wouldn't open files
(though I could open the Excel app directly, then the
file). The error message said there was no association for
that file type. So I went in and checked it, and all was
well. That almost fixed the problem.

Now, Pricing.xls (example) will open, but I am getting
several error messages about Excel can't find files like:

C:\Documents.xls
Setting\Sperryman\My.xls

and more....none of which actually exist anyway. So I OK
through these and my file finally opens.

What gives now?

Thanks. Sean.

I found the answer, in none other than Tek-tips.com!!!

I did a Google search for the Excel.xlb file (after
changing it had no affect for me). That's when I cme
across http://www.tek-tips.com/viewthread.cfm?
spid=68&sqid=699088&newpid=68.

I did the /Regserver, MSOffice did it's reconfigure, and
now, problem solved.

Thanks. Sean.
