In the last two weeks I've encountered this on three different machiness. Two
using Excel 2003 and one using 2007. When files containing macros are opened
you find that the macros have been reassigned to different names. In some
cases a fatal error occurs when any other file is opened by simply double
clicking it after you open a macro containing file. After closong Excel or
exiting and Excel.exe proccess is not ended and must be stopped manually. Of
course since Excel never closed ....any files reopened are read only and
cnnot be adjusted. At fist I thought it wwas my machine (MSO 2007), but then
i ran into it on two other machines. Macro files are reassigned different
buttons and the proccess must be stopped manually to truly close files.
any Ideas???
