Excel protection

Is it possible to protect a worksheet but allow lines to be hid and unhid while protection is in effect?

I swap Excel sheets with another PC computer using Excel. Would like to do this on both versions of Excel.

Possible?

No. The sheet must be unprotected in order to hide or unhide rows or
columns.
