Excel quits unexpectedly when editing charts in PowerPoint

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Intel

I am having repeated problems (over 150 instances so far) of Excel crashing while editing a chart in PowerPoint.

I have Office for Mac 2008 installed on three different computers and it happens on all of them!

Any suggestions?

Could you send me the error log by clicking More Information in the
Microsoft Error Reporting window and copying/pasting the whole thing into an
email to me? Also, if it's possible to send a PowerPoint file that leads to
this problem it would help.

I have the same problem here!! I have this problem occur to me numerous times when I was editing Excel graphs in PowerPoint.

It's frustrating and made even more so the sluggish speed of Mac Excel 2008 (even when compared to the PPC-only Excel 2004) on my 2.4 GHz MacBook Pro.
