Excel reference memory errors

certain files that are being used are causing errors similiar to the following:

The instruction at "0x308e05a0" referenced memory at "0x00d73292". The
memory could not be "written".

The number sequence is different for each of the files.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled all of Office 2000, including the
deletion of the registry keys.

Any help would be appreciated.

I am having the same problem. Let me know if you find an answer. This
problem only occurs for me with a very large Excel file with a very large
number of lookup cells, so it may be a size issue. How large is the file
that keeps giving you errors?
