Excel Risks and Issues back into PWA

Hi all

We use EPM 2003 SP2, in an ideal world I would like all of the PM's to
update Risks and Issues within PWA, however there are a few
installation issues that need to be resolved before this happens.

In the short term, I know there is an export to Excel option, which is
fine, but I am not sure if I can then import the updates back in,
obviously making sure it is the same format. Reading through other
posts I am guessing it is going to be a copy and paste thing.

Can I import the updates back in?

Hi Suzanne,

When you import excel file in to SharePoint sites, system create the
custom list and contents of the excel file will be appear as items in
that custom list.

Issues & Risks are default lists which will be part of the Project
Workspace. These two lists are internally integrated with MS Project
plans and SharePoint sites. So, these lists should not be created as
custom lists.

If you would like to have Issues/Risks functionality and want to have
the association of issues and risks with MS Project plans, you should
not import these into SharePoint site.

Please use the Datasheet view and copy/paste the contents from Excel.
