Hi There
Can someone please assist.

Im trying to create a KPI "using data in an excel workbook"
Everything works perfectly untill i refresh the data.
These are the step that i have followed.
http://igsp1:29523/PWA/Reports/ [Excel Services
Edit Trusted File Location http wookbook Calc Mode =auto]
http://igsp1:29523/PWA/Connections/[Excel Services
Edit Trusted File Location http wookbook Calc Mode =auto]

http://igsp1:29523/PWA/Connections/[Excel Services
Trusted Data Connection Libraries]

Excel Services Settings =Process account
Connection Encryption =Not required

These are the steps that i followed creating the report.

Set permissions [Permission to SQL Server Database expectra\mvanwyk=
dbowner][works 100%]

Create a data connection file .odc [Using Windows Authentication]
Upload Publish the connection file to http://igsp1:29523/PWA/Connections/
[works 100%]

Create the Excel sheet
Start Excel and on the Data tab click Existing Connections. Click the button
‘Browse for more’ and navigate to the data connection library in your
SharePoint site. Select the ODC file.
Pivot table report created
Publish the Excel Sheet http://igsp1:29523/PWA/Reports/ [works 100%]

Now this is where the problem comes in when i open the published report
select the cell that i would like refreshed i get the following error msg.
And for the life of me can't figure out why.

Data Refresh Failed
Unable to retrieve external data for the following connections:
SAP CONNECTION
The data sources may be unreachable, may not be responding, or may have
denied you access.
Verify that data refresh is enabled for the trusted file location and that
the workbook data authentication is correctly set.

Can someone please help me out here.
If you require any further information please let me know.
