excel shortcut wont work

I have a computer with microsoft office 2002 instaled on it and it has bin
running fine for the last few years but now when i click the shortcut to load
Microsoft excel it asks for an instal cd with microsoft frontpage on it but i
dont have microsoft frontpage i have the publisher edition of office 2002
what do i do? Yet i am still able to run excel using Run program anyone know
of any solutions to my predicament?

Ps im running windows xp

I would have to assume that at one point your system has that fersion of
Office installed on it. Unless you put the correct disk in, that error
message will not go away.

well i dont have the instal cd for microsoft office frontpage i have office
xp proffesional edition

Are you the second owner of that computer or did someone else install Office
for you? If memory serves me right, the version of Office that your computer
is asking for was the most pirated version ever. I'm wondering if someone
wasn't real picky about paying attention to whether or not they had a legal
version.

You could try uninstalling Office then reinstalling your legal copy.

No im the first owner of the pc and for all i know the cds are 100% legal

Try installing Office and installing your version again.
