EXCEL Shortcuts

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) Processor: Intel I recently converted from a PC to a MAC. Since I am already familiar with the EXCEL for Windows keyboard shortcut keys, I was wondering if there Is there any way to use the shortcuts for EXCEL for Windows instead of the shortcut keys designated for Excel for Mac? Would using Parallels, or some other VM allow me to do this - if so, how?

Most of the keyboard shortcuts in the Mac version are not much different
than those used in the Windows version. Those that differ do have
equivalents. All are fully documented in Excel Help.

You might have a look at the topic: 'Excel keyboard shortcuts'

Mac Excel also offers he flexibility of being able to assign your own
keyboard shortcuts in addition to or in place of most defaults as well as
for nearly any command that doesn't already have one.

VM software does you no good unless you also install a compatible version of
the Windows OS as well as the Windows version of the apps - IOW, VM software
doesn't 'convert' a Mac to a PC, it enables running a virtual PC on a Mac.

The shortcuts are roughly the same except instead of making heavy use of the control key Mac tends to use the Command or Apple Key.

This in the help file click help menu the choose Keyboard shortcuts and look for customize.
