Excel shows only one sheet in taskbar

Hi
When I open an excel worksheet it displays in the taskbar but when I open
subsequent sheets they are not displayed in the taskbar.It looks as if only
one document is open. This is very annoying as I am unable to close a
certain worksheet from the taskbar.

Open Excel - Tools -> Options -> View tab, Windows in Taskbar

Close and restart Excel whenever you make such changes

You know it makes sense.

XL2000 and greater.

Tools>Options>View>checkmark "Windows in Taskbar"
