Hello everybody
We have a calculation that uses several Excel-sheets and
files. It was created with Excel 97. The calculation was
running well until we upgraded to Office XP. Now, with XP,
the calculation needs 20-40 times longer. For testing, we
installed Excel2000 on a Windows XP PC and the Calculation
is running quickly again. Till now, I did not found any
reason for the very bad speed on a Windows XP/Office XP
installation.
Does anyone knows that effect and, perhaps, the solution
for speeding up the calculation under XP?
Many thanks in advance
