Excel spreadsheet and powerpoint

Hi,

I have data stored in Excel spreadsheet and need to display these data into
powerpoint slide. The spreadsheet will be updated frequently and hence the
powerpoint slide. The slide is running 24x7. Please advise whether possible:
1) upon spreadsheet update, the excel macro push the data to powerpoint
(when powerpoint is running) or
2) refresh powerpoint at an interval time (pull method)
