Excel startup error

I have a new Dell computer that came with Office small
business edition installed.Dell will not answer my
request for assistance.When I open Excel I get the
following error message in a new window that says
Microsoft Visual Basic on the blue header:

Compile error in hidden module:AutoExecNew

And when I close Excel I get this message in a simular
window:

Compile error in hidden module: DistMon

Anyone have a fix for this?
