Excel Startup Message

When I start Excel 2002 in Windows XP Home Edition, I get a Dialogue box message that says "installing Microsoft Excel features" and then it takes about 10 seconds to install (I cannot tell what this feature is). How can I stop this from happening ? Thanks.
