Excel Styles

Thanks for the reply on my previous post by the same name.
My issue with the styles that don't save...

The problem is my users needs to use a format of negative
numbers to be displayed as (%number%) , not -%number%

The way is to goto Format Cells, choose custom and set the
type to #,###.00 ; (#,###.00)

That all works fine. You can save it and all. But the next
time you open Excel, the saved changes are gone.

Is there a global template this can be applied to?

I may not have properly understood your problem, not being an expert with
Excel, however, you can save the file as a template by going to
Tools/Options/Transition and under "Save Excel file as..." scroll to
"Template". You can save it in any folder for recall when needed.

Hope this helps,

Ed

Let me know if it does the job. One never knows when the question might
come up again.
