Excel Table Paste

I am cutting a table from excel and pasting into Powerpoint. The table in
excel has a border and internal grid lines. If i paste into excel as any
type of picture, in the normal view all of the grid lines look fine. When in
presentation mode, some entire horizontal & vertical borders within the tabel
are heaveier and bolder than others. I have checked excel, and I do not have
a border format over a border format.

I would simply create in PP, but the spreadsheet is going out to many in
order to report data back in a master presentation uniformily.

Right-click the pasted object in PPT and choose Format|Object. Make sure
it's set to 100% x 100% in the Size tab.

Alternatively, use Edit|Paste Special in PPT and see if any of the other
paste options (like maybe one of the metafile images) helps. (Pasting
metafiles would not paste the spreadsheet itself, but just an image of it.
So if having the spreadsheet is important, then pasting special as an image
isn't the way to go.)

If brought into PP as a picture, when I right click on the picture, chose
format pciture > size, it is set to 100% x 100%.

Right-click the pasted object in PPT and choose Format|Object. Make sure
it's set to 100% x 100% in the Size tab.

Alternatively, use Edit|Paste Special in PPT and see if any of the other
paste options (like maybe one of the metafile images) helps. (Pasting
metafiles would not paste the spreadsheet itself, but just an image of it.
So if having the spreadsheet is important, then pasting special as an image
isn't the way to go.)

So are you saying that, even if it's a picture and it's 100% x 100%, the
lines are still not displaying properly? (Ah, nuts -- I just noticed you
mentioned pasting as picture in your original post Apologies for completely
missing that.)

Only thing I can think is you're viewing the presentation on a wide-screen
display. If that's the case, updating video drivers might be worth a shot.

Yes, they are not displaying correctly with a size of 100%H x 100% W. Some
lines are bolder and thicker than others.

I did try putting the presentation in the 35mm mode, with no luck.
Currently it is in the On-screen mode.

Based on your suggestion, I threw the presentation to a different cpu and
same problem! This is one of those minor items that can drive one crazy
trying to fix!

Oh, I meant like a wide-screen laptop display. For example, my system is set
to 1440 x 900, which is a wide display.

I can't think of anything else. Hopefully someone else will pop in with
ideas.
