excel tables

daniel kaplan

when i paste excel tables into my word document they have the gridlines
(which are off in excel). how do i turn them off in word??????

Daniel,

Assuming you use Word 2000, here are a few things to try:

In Word, click a cell within the table.
Then, click the Table menu, click Select, click Table. This will select
the table.
Click the Format menu, then click Borders and Shading.
Click the Borders tab.
You can disable printing gridlines by clicking None on the left edge of the
window.

A style of printing gridlines can be single clicked from the Style list.
All gridlines can be enabled by clicking All on the left edge of the
window. Or, click the buttons on the right side of the window to enable
only certain edges of the cell. Different line styles can be chosen and
applied to different parts of the cell with this technique.
