What do you mean by clearer explanation? What version of Excel are you
using?
You got an answer how to do it in Excel 2000, in Excel 2002 and 2003 you
select edit objects when you protect the sheet. Also not that you have to
use
Ctrl + C since edit>copy will be grayed out
