Excel thinks I have another 200+ rows at the bottom of my rows.
My last row should be 754 but it thinks it is 996
When I do a Ctrl-end it goes to row 996 and column J (J is corrrect).

How do I remove these unwanted rows from my document?

Have you tried selecting the unwanted rows and clicking Edit -> Delete?

Yes I have tried deleting the rows. That doesn't seem to work. I am sorry
but posted this in the Access group. Sorry.

Thanks fr your response.

You actually clicked Edit -> Delete, rather than just hitting the Del
key? They do two different things.

You're not the first. :)

You're welcome.

I don't know if you've found your answer or not...but this is what you have
to do, 'cause I run into this all the time.

Highlight the rows you don't need. The entire row (select by the row
number).
From the File Menu | Edit | Clear | All
From the File Menu | Edit | Delete
Save and Close the Spreadsheet

When you open it back up try hitting CTRL + End again, you should see the
problem fixed.
Let me know if it works.

No, deleting rows with the delete key, and doing an edit-delete are not the
same.
But sometimes, even the edit-delete doesn't solve the problem.
What I've found works is to save-as (instead of save) the file to itself.
You don't even have to close the file.
