excel to mail merge xp

Alec

I have information on excel spreadsheet, eg name, address,
money amount etc. I am using this sheet as my data source
for mail merge doc. The amounts being used is straight out
dollars and cents (2 decimal points). When I merge this
into my mail merge doc. the merged money amounts is
sometimes up to 9 decimal points long. There is no formula
attached to any of the cells in excel to give me these
decimal points. Thanks for any ideas on how to fix this
problem I have tried many ways. Regards Alec

Hi Alec,

Unfortunately, you don't mention the version of Word. But
take a look at the formatting information in my website's
mail merge FAQ. And if you're using Word 2002, you should
read up in the section, as well.
