Excel to Web + Access

Hello everyone,

A general question for you - we have an in house Excel Workbook that
we use to track our client info - we've thought about putting it in an
access data base in the past so I have a question.

How hard would it be to post a web page that acts as the data
collection tool for this? Or is the fact that I have to ask proof
that we'd need to outsource it?

Thanks in advance

If you can use access then it's quite simple. If not you will need to get
someone to do it for you.

If (again) you have the right extentions available on your website - like
asp. The just create whatever form you like the lokk of and save the
answers to an on line database (not secure). You can then upload (or is it
download, never quite sure about that) the data to a another DB on your hard
drive.

This siad (arron will love this) almost all servers have sql DB's available
so it you don't want to use access this is another option. But I find access
easier to bring in and then to incorperate.

MUCH simpler with expressionweb that most other design packages - Mr Gates
like to keep all his "stuff" talking to each other
