I am working with a client that currently dumps data from a program called
PerTrac into an Excel sheet.
This information is then manipulated several ways some by manual updating in
the target document (currently Publisher) sometimes copy and paste etc.
This seems archaic to me at best.
I am not a developer by any means but I know Office has the capability of
doing some amazing things.
There has got to be a better way of creating and updating these documents
than this 'stone and chisel' approach.
Anyone have any great ideas?
VB?
XML?
Simple OLE?
I'm open to any and all suggestions.
