Version: 2008
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: intel
I frequently prepare PivotTables (approx. 20 column x 35'000 row input data) and Excel becomes too slow (ej. spinning ball most of the time) to perform each task. Its also too common for Excel to crash and require multiple restarts.
I have a 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 2 GB 667 MHz DDR2 Ram MacBook Pro.
Do I need more ram to make this faster? What else can I do to improve performance?
Thanks in advance.
Regards.
