Have you tried clicking the elliptical button at the right end of the
workbook's title bar?... And *please* don't use all caps in your
communications. It's very hard on the eyes, difficult to read, and in
electronic documents is considered the equivalent of shouting.
Try going to ~/Library/Preferences/Microsoft/Office 2008 and trash the Excel
Toolbars file
