Excel Tools-Options error

When I try to access any Options tab I get an error message "Cant access
directory D:\My Documents"
I have Excel pointed at the D:Drive for my file location and for
autoarchiving etc.
Autoarchiving when tried bringsup a similar error.
Have removed and reinstalled but get same problem.
any ideas
