Excel tries to install Macromedia Contribute 3

Every time I start Excel it launches a dialog box that says to wait while
Windows configures Macromedia Contribute 3. Then it asks for the original CD.
At that point I cancel and Excel runs normally. After doing this many times
Excel said it had a problem with the Flashpaper add-in and asked if I wanted
to disable it. I said Yes and didn't experience this problem further.

What caused this problem? Can I re-enable Flash Paper?

I do have Contribute 3 installed on my computer and it works normally.

It will be the add-in from the Macromedia application that is trying to load
itself in excel. To find this try going to Tools>Add-Ins and look and see if
it is listed. It may not be in this list but in the for of a com add-in.

You do not mention the version of Excel you have which makes a difference as
to where you look to find it but I would look in the Adobe site. They have,
IMO, a lousy record of add-in implementation with Excel and maybe they have
an update for this one.

Can you re-enable flash player? If the problem is still there I suspect not,
just try it and see.
