Excel tutorials for first time Mac user

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)

I'm fairly capable with M/S Office on a p.c. Just got my first Mac and feel like a total idiot. Can't find tutorial or other help info for real basic stuff--i.e. inserting a new line in an existing spreadsheet. Can anyone tell me where to go, in a nice way ?
