Excel Unexpectedly Closes and Restarts

and recovers workbooks that were open at the time of closing.
I have several users who have this problem. One machine gave me an error
report and sent me to Office Updates. Upon download and installation, this
is no longer happening on that machine. For two other users, however,
downloading and installing Office Updates did not change the behavior.
Unfortunately, there is no error message or detail information to search
the Office KB. Any thoughts or ideas?
