Excel View Size Too Small

Is there any way to increase the default view size in excel without using the zoom feature? The default view size in 2008 is much smaller than the default view sizes in the Windows version of office. If I save a file zoomed in the Mac version and share it with some one using the Windows version it shows up to big. We both end up having to change the zoom every time we open a shared file. Help!

It's quite likely an issue of difference in resolution rather than a matter
of Zoom. I'm guessing that your Mac is displaying at a higher screen
resolution which enables more content at smaller proportion. There's nothing
within the program that will automatically adjust for that.

Through OS X System Preferences - Display or the PC's Display Control Panel
you can adjust the resolution setting, but that will probably not prove to
be an acceptable solution.
